South Suburban Parks and Recreation (SSPRD)
All HHMD residents have full access to SSPRD facilities and programs. Our property taxes include a mill levy for this. We do not have access to the four recreation centers in Highlands Ranch. We are not in the Highlands Ranch Community Association (HRCA) district, and do not pay their dues.
Highlands Ranch Metro District (HRMD)
HRMD is the local government that provides municipal services to Highlands Ranch. Briefly, this includes water/sewer, fire and emergency services, public works, and parks and recreation. The seven member Board meets monthly, with study sessions usually held the week before. The public is welcome.
